2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.” (AMP)
As students and learners of the Word, we should be committed to bible study on a regular basis. Not only during the time of fellowship with our church, but also our quiet times at home or wherever we can get some alone time with God. When we become disciplined in this area, we begin to grow in the Lord and develop an intimate relationship with Him. The more time we spend in the Word, the more we will desire to want to live in the Word and learn how to pray in faith according to His will. We learn more about His Character, and the promises He has made available to us as His children. Not only do we learn to love God and develop our relationship with Him, but also learn how to love others and develop our relationship with them.
